What airlines ask you to open the window shade for landing?

I've only seen this request on foreign, ie, non USA based airlines. What airlines have people seen this on? Thanks. Thats funny, I work for an airline and we don't require that. In fact, all four of the airlines I've flown on didn't. I also fly on most of the major US airlines, and this doesn't happen. Is this some kind of an urban myth? Or, perhaps only certain captains request this? The mystery continues. I mean to say that all for of the airlines I've flown FOR do not require this. Strange.
