Do the airlines allow students going to UK for studies to carry laptops with them ?

I am going to Liverpool, UK. Do the airlines allow me to carry my laptop?

  1. Most of them do. Check with your airline for rules and regs. It may be classed as your piece of carry on hand luggage
  2. Yes,but some airlines will ask you to switch it on.4 security.you have to have it out the carrier.
  3. I've taken my laptop half way around the world, on many flights with many airlines. Never had a problem. You can't use it during the flight, but you can carry it without a problem.
  4. Anyone can carry a laptop in their carry-on bags. 3/4 of all the business people who fly carry them on - and use them during the flight, too. You cannot use them during takeoff and landing - the cabin crew will tell you when they are permitted. Truthfully, in coach, there's not a heck of a lot of room on the tray table - especially if the person in front of you puts their seat all the way back! The security screenings for departures from the US require that you place the laptop, removed from any bag, by itself, in one of the plastic bins. Once in a while, you might be asked to turn it on - that has only happened to me maybe twice in the last 15 years. You can also carry the charger in your carry on if you want to,
  5. yes they do the only thin it that you must turn off internet and you cant have it on when the fasten seat belt sing is on
  6. Airlines allow everyone to carry laptops with them
