what airlines have the best fares to vegas?

Hubby and I are planning a trip to Vegas at the end of February. Other than Southwest and Jetblue, what are some cheap airlines to look at? We'd be flying out of Chicago.

  1. You may want to try this one http://search.singaporehotel.com.sg/nexres/air/destinations.cgi?src=10019116&src_aid=&dest=Las%20Vegas
  2. It really doesn't matter what site you use because they are all going to show about the same price. Be careful of any that show a really low price because suddenly during the booking process taxes and fees will appear which may take it even higher than the others. Just use orbitz, expedia or Travelocity to find the airfare. It won't make a difference.
  3. Airlines compete. There really is no answer to this quyestion, it just depends on the cirucumstances of the your particual days of travel.
  4. chicago is SW and US airlines. best prices. my honey lives in Chiacgo and can do some thijng to get a discount. web page is best ,maybe you do same.
  5. It is really to early to book such a flight from Chicago to Las Vegas. The reason, the airlines are still nervous about the price of fuel over the next 6 months. I suggest you look around December and watch for flight drops in price. Also, search available airport options between airports within driving distance. Currently U.S., American, United, Frontier, and Delta have fares hovering around $308 round-trip. If you can get more flexible in your travel time it should be that you can get a air/hotel package about that price or less.
  6. get tickets early in like nov or dec!!i live in chcago and fly to vegas all the time, american airlines has really good deals, i just booked a flight with delta that was only 130 and it was coming back!!i always roll with expedia they have great deals, check every day!!!
  7. try allegiantair.com it is a vegas based airline. its WAY cheap to fly from where i am. it isnt the prettiest airline and you dont get free peanuts but hey, you save a bunch! they should be doing another "fly free" promo before you go so sign up for the newsletter and you can REALLY save when they do that. we went in january for a little over $400. roundtrip and 4 nights at circus circus. upgraded to a nice room!!
  8. Check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php
  9. Virgin America United
  10. If you are in a distant western suburb of Chicago try flying out of Rockford Illinois. If you are in an eastern suburb there is South Bend airport. Allegiant Air flies to those airports for much cheaper than any other airlines. Otherwise Southwest out of Midway is your best bet.
