How would you describe the current generation we live in? Whats the NEXT generation?

Hi peeps, how would you describe the information generation we live in? The IT and telecommunication is taking over the world making businesses able to reach their target audiences in no time at all. The question is, where does this all take us? Whats the NEXT generation? Forget about robots and a lesser need for human workers, im more interested to hear opinions about convergence. How every product or service is converging with other businesses to keep up with this fast information generation. Whats your thoughts about convergence?

1. i would describe the generation with words.
2. seems we are in a truly two different types of generations at the moment. the older generation which is from the baby boomers and now the generation from the baby boomers.... and the next GENERATION will be as it already started will be the people that use nothing but tech, it will be come more and more tech and until we reach the song 2525... when we become blobs because everything is done for us.....
