Are Pc games as good as they are on the next generation consoles. Are games like fallout three and the up coming game prototype which are available on PC, Xbox360 and PS3 as good on PC as they are on the other platforms

If your PC has the required configuration( required RAM, graphic card etc) , then the games work fine, some work even better in PCs than in consoles if u have a really high end configuration. I would also like to add that PCs are not just for playing small unprofessional games(like Anuj said). PCs can also be used for professional gaming provided that u have a high end configured PC. A high end gaming PC is the best gaming machine till date.
PC games have their own place in this era however the graphics and the environment of the games on pc is very poor as compared to that of consoles consoles are mainly designed for the only purpose of gaming whereas it isn't the case with pc. if u'r seeing forward for professional gaming than do go forward for consoles but it u just want to past ur time playing small games sometime than pc will be best for u.
Console ports look the same since they were designed for the console. A game like Fallout 3, is designed for all. On the console versions the game runs at high, while on a PC it can run at ultra, so technically a PC can run a game better than a console however it takes a beast.
